10:00 am - 12:00 pm | Knox Presbyterian Church | 341 Eveline St. | FREE
Funded in part by ✩ Manitoba Arts Council
Presented by ✩ the PRHouse

Come listen, learn, and connect at the Newcomers’ Storytelling Café. Guided by Jamaican-born storyteller Patlee Creary, Co-Founder and Executive Director of The StoryBridge Network, newcomers from Selkirk, St. Andrews, and St. Clements have spent the past months crafting personal stories about their journeys to Canada.

“The newcomer’s journey was likely long and winding, challenging and rewarding all at the same time. And when we share it, we learn we all have something in common. That bonds us and creates a community,” says Creary.

This inspiring event, supported by The PRHouse and the Manitoba Arts Council, celebrates the voices of new residents and the communities that have welcomed them. Join us to hear their powerful stories and experience the connections that storytelling can create.
