The Selkirk Friendship Centre along with Frontier College are excited to bring your Holiday Tales & Trails – a walking literacy program for families!

Take a walk down Manitoba Avenue and Eveline St. to read Olaf’s Night Before Christmas!

Starting at The Mighty Kiwi and working your way around the businesses on Holiday Alley, families can read each page of the book!

After finishing the page, families will be given the address to find the next page of the book and continue the story.

Between a few of the pages, kids and families have a chance to reflect, answer a few questions, and engage in conversations about the book

At the end of the book, families can then share their favorite part of the book, or lessons they have learned on Holiday Alley’s Facebook or Instagram accounts!

There are no wrong answers, feelings, questions here.

Your comments will put you in a draw to win 1 of 30 books available as a giveaway!

This activity can be done at any time between December 4 and January 7th!

Together, we can continue to support literacy and community through Tales and Trails!
